2. Auto choke unit resistance
8Disconnect the auto choke unit coupler
from wire harness.
8Connect the Pocket tester(Ω × 1) to the
Auto choke unit coupler as shown.
Positive tester probe
Negative tester probe

8Measure the auto choke unit resistance.
Auto choke unit resistance
30 Ω Ω Ω Ω Ω at 20°C
8Is the auto choke unit OK?
YES

3. Wiring
8 Check the entire auto choke system's wir-
ing.
Refer to "CIRCUIT DIAGRAM".
8 Is the auto choke system's wiring prop-
erly connected and without defects?
YES

Replace the auto choke
unit.

Properly connect or repair
