FRONT BRAKE

DISASSEMBLING THE FRONT BRAKE MAS-
TER CYLINDER
NOTE:
Before disassembling the front brake master
cylinder, drain the brake fluid from the entire
brake system.
1. Disconnect:
8 brake switch coupler
(from the brake switch)
2. Remove:
8 union bolt 1
8 copper washer 2
8 brake hose 3
NOTE:
To collect any remaining brake fluid, place a
container under the master cylinder and the end
of the brake hose.

CHECKING THE FRONT BRAKE MASTER
CYLINDER
1. Check:
8 brake master cylinder 1
8 Damage/scratches/wear
8 brake fluid delivery passages 2
(brake master cylinder body)
Obstruction
air.
2. Check:
8 brake master cylinder kit 1
Damage/scratches/wear

CHAS
Replace.
Blow out with compressed
Replace.
