10.Pickup coil resistance
8Disconnect the pickup coil coupler from
the wire harness.
8Connect the pocket tester (Ω × 100) to
the pickup coil terminal as shown.
Positive tester probe
Negative tester probe
8Measure the pickup coil resistance.
Pickup coil resistance
304 ~456Ω Ω Ω Ω Ω at 20°C
8Is the pickup coil OK?
YES
Replace the pickup coil.

11.Wiring
8Check the entire ignition system's wiring.
Refer to "CIRCUIT DIAGRAM".
8Is the ignition system's wiring properly
connected and without defects?
YES
Replace the C.D.I.
unit.
