Functions
The sound transmission can
be set either to CONTINUOUS
SOUND or SOUND
ACTIVATED.
Continuous Sound: the
sound transmission between
Nursery Unit and Parent Unit
is always active, so you will
hear every little sound in the
baby's room. When selected,
the microphone icon will not
be visible on the Parent Unit
display.

Sound transmission is CONTINUOUS SOUND
Setting
Options
There are two options:
1. CONTINUOUS SOUND
2. SOUND ACTIVATED
How to
1. Press the MENU button
change this
briefl y three times; the
setting
icons of the current setting
will appear (OF)
2. Select ON or OFF with the
ARROWS UP or DOWN
3. Press SELECT to confi rm
your choice
4. If you have selected ON
(Sound Activated) and
pressed SELECT, press
MENU again to set the
microphone sensitivity
5. Increase the microphone
Functions
Sound Alarm: An audible
alarm will sound if an alarm is
activated
Vibrating Alarm: The Parent
Unit will only vibrate if an alarm
is activated, no sound will be
heard
Factory
Sound and Vibrating Alarm activated
Setting
Options
There are three combinations:
1. Sound Alarm
2. Vibrating Alarm
3. Vibrating & Sound Alarm

Sound Activated: the sound
transmission between the
Nursery Unit and Parent Unit
is only activated if the Nursery
Unit registered a certain
level of sound, (e.g.) crying.
The sound transmission
will turn itself off again if no
sound is registered. The
sensitivity of the microphone is
adjustable. When selected, the
microphone icon will be visible
on the Parent Unit display.
Icons shown on display:
OF
ON
sensitivity using the
ARROW UP and decrease
the sensitivity using the
ARROW DOWN. A higher
sensitivity means that the
microphone will pick up
(softer) sounds quicker
6. Press SELECT to confi rm
the sensitivity level
7. Press EXIT if you are
fi nished programming (or
MENU if you would like to
go to MENU 4)
Sound & Vibration Alarm:
Combination of a Sound and
Vibrating alarm
