1. Remove the screw (1) that secures the optical drive to the computer.
2. Use a flat tool to press on the optical drive bracket tab (2) to release the optical drive.
3. Remove the optical drive from the computer.
4. If it is necessary to replace the optical drive bracket, position the optical drive with the rear panel
toward you.
5. Remove the two screws (1) that secure the optical drive bracket to the optical drive.
6. Remove the optical drive bracket (2).
Reverse this procedure to reassemble and install the optical drive.
