NOTE: One ring is equal to about six seconds, two rings equals twelve
seconds, and so on.

DAY/NIGHT TIME Specify times to be considered Day
or Night for Auto-Attendant features
RING TIME Set length of time the phone will
ring before the answering machine
picks up the call
MESS. LENGTH Set maximum length of messages to
be recorded
MESS. ALERT Turn Audible Message Alert on or off
MONITOR Choose whether messages can be
heard over the speaker as they are
recorded
D-TAD Turn D-TAD Intercept on (messages
INTERCEPT can be intercepted by other 964
phones during recording) or off
AUTO-ATT. Specify how many seconds an
PICKUP Auto-Attendant will wait before
picking up incoming calls
PASSWORD Program password needed for
remote access to some features

Audible Signals

When you hear: It means:
A rapid double-ring pattern, You have an incoming intercom call.
repeating
Long single ring, repeating You have an incoming transferred call.
Short single ring, repeating The extension number you just programmed has
already been assigned. Choose another number for
this extension.
Short single tone, repeating The extension you are calling is in DND mode.
Long single tone, repeating The extension you are calling is busy.
