TROUBLESHOOTING

Condition
Engine does not start
Engine starts but immediately
stalls
Abnormal vibration
Engine starts, but the cut-off
wheel does not rotate
Engine does not stop
Probable Cause
No fuel or low fuel
Fuel is not in the carburetor
Old fuel
Spark plug is wet
The fuel pipe is bent or detached
Carburetor failure
Spark plug failure
Electrical system failure
No fuel or low fuel
Fuel is not in the carburetor
The choke is closed
Carburetor failure
Spark plug failure
Clogged air fi lter
Faulty mounting of the cut-off
wheel
Deformation of the cut-off wheel
Anti-vibration system failure
Belt is loose
Belt is too tight
Belt is out of pulleys
Electrical system failure

Remedy
Supply fuel
Supply fuel and push priming
pump a few times.
Supply new fuel
1. Remove spark plug and dry it
2. Pull starter and dry the fuel
inside the engine

Replace spark plug or correct the
gap

Supply fuel
Supply fuel and push priming
pump a few times.
Push choke lever securely
