Vehicle Cradle External AC Power Supply

Note: The external AC supply may be connected to either a 120V, 60Hz supply or, outside North America, to a 230V, 50Hz
supply, using the appropriate detachable cord set. In all cases, connect the external AC supply to a properly grounded
AC source provided with maximum 15 Amp over current protection (10 Amp for 230V circuits).

How To

If the MX3Plus is in the cradle, it can be either On or Off during this process.

Connect the detachable cord set provided by Honeywell to the external AC supply (IEC 320 connector).
l
Plug cord set into appropriate, grounded, electrical supply receptacle.
l
Connect the keyed water tight connector end to the Cradle by aligning the connector pins to the power connector; push
l
down on the keyed water tight connector and twist it to fasten securely.
The Status LED on the cradle illuminates green.
l
The MX3Plus CHGR LED illuminates.
