The flashlight and the courtesy light will be active and will lighten for a minute thus signalling the
emergency state.
During or after the minute of sounding alarm, it is possible to reset the functioning of the door by
pressing any control button.
PHOTOELECTRIC CELL (COM-PHOT)
With the door close, if there is an obstacle in the radium of the photoelectric cells and the opening
command is given, the door opens (during the opening phase the photoelectric cells will not work).
The photoelectric cells will only work during the closing phase (with reset of the reverse motion
after a second even if they are busy).
N.B.: Every six months make sure to check that photocells are not out of order
FLASHLIGHT (
N.B.: The electronic board OVER can feed ONLY FLASHLIGHTS WITH LIGHTENING CIRCUIT.
The flashlight is active during the motion of the door, or to signal the impact alarm state for 1
minute.
Use a flashlight (Code ACG7059) with a max. 230V 40W lamp (on request 120V 40W code
ACG7060).
PRE-LIGHTENING FUNCTION:
DIP 6 - OFF => The motor and the flashlight start contemporarily.
DIP 6 - ON => The flashlight starts 3 seconds before the motor.
PEDESTRIAN SECURITY (COM- PED. SEC.)
In case the horizontally pivoted or sectional door has a pedestrian door, connect a micro switcher
(N.C. when the pedestrian door is close) signalling its state to the gear case.
For a correct working of the system, DL4 led must be on to signal that the pedestrian door is
correctly closed. If DL4 led is off, no motion of the door is allowed since the pedestrian door is
open.

OPTIONALS
For the connections and the technical data of the fixtures follow the relevant
handbooks.
BATTERY CHARGE CARD
Cod. ACG4660 for COMET S 24V
The time for the complete recharge of 12Vdc 1,2Ah batteries (n° 2 pieces connected in series,
optional cod. ACG9511), at the first installation is of 24 hours, with a charge current of 0,03A.
BATTERY STATE SIGNALLING PILOT LIGHT FEEDING
(COM - SIGNAL BATTERY)
In case the network tension lacks and the emergency battery is operated, this pilot light switches
on thus signalling the network lack, and it starts lightening only when the battery is discharged.
When the pilot light lightens, the gearcase is no longer operative.
Only when the network tension is back, the pilot light switches off and all controls are restored.
(obviously the battery will only recharge in the presence of the network tension).
N.B.: In case we exceed with the pilot lights, the logic of the gearcase will result damaged
with a possible block of the operations.
FUNCTIONING WITH BLACK OUT
- If batteries are connected to the control board, with lack of network tension the batteries state
pilot light switches on thus signalling the functioning with battery. The functioning of the door is
ensured until a charge level of about 20V, after which there will be a signal given by the recharge
card to the gearcase which blocks the door and make the batteries state pilot light lighten. When
the network tension is back, the recharge card will start recharging the batteries. You just need
pressing the remote control (or the opening button or the step by step button) to open the door.
Once the door will be open, give a closing command or wait the pause time before the automatic
closing => The door starts closing. When it is closed, the normal functions will be restored.
- If no battery is connected to the control board, there is no particular procedure to follow.
When the network tension is back, it is sufficient to press the remote control, the opening button
or the step by step button to open the door. When the door is open, give a closing command or
wait the pause time before the automatic closing. The door starts closing => When it is closed,
the normal functions will be restored.
During the realignment the securities are active.
