Causes of problems

Controller does not appear to function at all:
Secondary symptoms
Display shows nothing
No display illumination
The solar pump does not operate, despite the fact that the switch-on conditions
are satisfied:

The pump symbol in the
display does not rotate
The display illumination
is red
A tool symbol flashes in
the display
The pump symbol in the

Controller power supply
is interrupted

Pump has seized up
The maximum storage
tank temperature has
been reached

In multi storage tank
systems: the system has
stopped due to a priority

The minimum collector
temperature has not
been reached
The maximum loading
temperature has been
reached
Stagnation reduction
activated
Storage tank deactivated
The operating switch is set
to manual operation and
the pump output is set to
"off"
Short circuit or interruption
of a temperature sensor

Procedure
Check the controller power cable
Check the fuse for the power supply
Check the fuse at the controller (replace-
ment fuse is located in the case)
Procedure
Check the pump power cable
Check the fuse in the controller
(replacement fuse is located in the case)
Get the pump working again, replace
if necessary
No fault
Set the operating switch to automatic
operation
On the controller, request the current
values from all connected temperature
sensors
Check all defective sensors and/or
sensor cable
