Warning!
We recommend any maintenance work is carried out by a Mira Service Engineer
or qualified tradesperson following the instructions provided. Before replacing
any parts, make sure that the underlying cause of the malfunction has been
resolved. There are no user-serviceable components beneath the cover of
the appliance. Only a competent tradesperson should remove the cover.
Cleaning
Many household and industrial cleaners contain abrasive and chemical substances
that can damage the finish of your shower. Only clean the shower and fittings with a
mild washing-up detergent or soap solution, and then wipe them dry with a soft cloth.
Showerhead
Poor shower performance and early failure of the appliance can be avoided by
regular cleaning of the showerhead and in particular the spray plate holes. Use your
thumb or soft cloth to wipe the rubber nozzles. The showerhead must be descaled
regularly.
