Opening DVD Mode

To turn on the notebook in DVD mode or to switch the
notebook from music mode to DVD mode, press the DVD
button.
If you press the DVD button while

A supported DVD or video CD is in the optical drive, the
disc plays.
■
A supported DVD or video CD is not in the optical drive,
the message, "Please Insert Disc or Press Music Button" is
displayed. When the message is displayed, either

Pressing the Play/Pause Button
If the notebook is in DVD mode and an inserted DVD or video
CD does not play, press the play/pause button, identified in the
following illustration. For more information about the play/pause
button and other media controls see the
later in this chapter.

Insert a supported DVD or video CD into the optical drive
If an audio CD is in the drive, press the music button to
switch the notebook to music mode and play the CD.
