Setting a TV Display Preference
Television display preferences apply only when the notebook
is in Windows.
You can set a video application, such as InterVideo WinDVD,
that is assigned to the media launch button to display on a
television. You can adjust this setting so that the media is
displayed on the television each time you press the media launch
button or so that you are prompted to select a display each time
you press the media launch button.
After you have set the notebook to display media on a television

When you press the media launch button while media is
playing, the image switches between the notebook and the
television.

When you press the media launch button while a television
is not connected to the system, a "Check for external display
before taking media action" message is displayed.
The television display preferences that you set apply only to a
television, not to an optional external monitor or projector.
To set TV display preferences:
1. While the notebook is in Windows, open the Quick Launch
Buttons control panel:

Select Start > Control Panel > Quick Launch Buttons.
Select the Quick Launch Buttons icon on your taskbar or
Windows desktop.
