Mode Selection

You can use the SET UP–selection screen to select the mode for
basic features.
Preparation
• See Watching VCR on page 27.

Press VCR MENU to display the menu screen.
When you use the Unit for the first time, press VCR MENU.
"LANGUAGE" screen appears. You should set the language to be
used in the OSD (On Screen Display). See OSD Language
Setting on page 37.

Select "SET UP" with ' / " and then press SET.

Example: When you change the AUTO REPEAT and BLUE
SCREEN settings.
Set "AUTO REPEAT" mode to "ON" or "OFF" with \ \ \ \ \ / | | | | | . Then
press ".

Set "BLUE SCREEN" mode to "ON" or "OFF" with \ \ \ \ \ / | | | | | . Then
press ".

• You can change the EXACT REC, SAP, AUDIO OUTPUT and
S.PICTURE settings the same way.

Press SET to enter.
• The screen returns to normal.
• If you press VCR MENU to exit the mode selection screen in Step 5,
the data will not be stored. Be sure to press SET to store the data.
