Removing The Pci Adapter Card Support Assembly - IBM eserver xSeries 232 8668 Hardware Maintenance Manual

To remove the on/off reset board:
1. Power off the server
2. Disconnect cables.
3. Press the arrow on the tab of the rear cable bracket 1 to release the bracket
4. Carefully peel away the adhesive strip 2 .
5. Remove the screws 3 .
6. Gently pull the rear cable bracket 1 to remove.

Removing the PCI adapter card support assembly

The illustration in this document might differ slightly from your hardware.
To remove the PCI adapter card support assembly:
1. Power off the server.
2. Disconnect all external cables from the server.
3. Remove the cover. See "Removing the left-side cover (tower model)" on page 43
4. Disconnect cable.
5. Press the arrows on the tab 1 to release the Adapter support bracket retaining
6. Carefully slide out the adapter support bracket 2 to remove .
