Before removing the display panel, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4. Remove the following components:
a. Keyboard (select products only) (see
b. Back cover (see
c. Display panel (see
d. Touch controller board (see
e. WLAN module (see
f. WWAN module (select products only) (see
g. Solid-state drive (see
h. Battery (see
Remove the rear webcam:
▲ Disconnect the cable from the system board (1), and then lift the rear webcam to remove it (2).
Reverse this procedure to replace the rear webcam.

Make special note of each screw and screw lock size and location during removal
