IMPORTANT:

Before removing the display panel, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4.
Remove the following components:

Keyboard (select products only) (see

Display panel (see
d.
Touch controller board (see
e.
WLAN module (see
f.
WWAN module (select products only) (see
g.
Solid-state drive (see
h.
Battery (see
i.
System board (see
Remove the button board:
Remove 2 Phillips M1.6x2.0 screws (1), disconnect cables, and then lift the button board to remove it
(2).
