When you install the Win-Tools programs, the CAPI driver for the TAPI driver, the
USB driver for the C-CS320 is also installed automatically.
•
Connect the telephone to your PC.
You can now use your telephone together with the installed PC programs.
C-CS310: Ensure that you use the correct RS310(V.24) port on your PC. The Win-Tools
programs supplied with the system support several COM ports.
C-CS320: You do not need an additional ISDN card in your PC. The telephone is
equipped with an integrated USB port for connecting with the PC. Based on the pro-
grams and drivers you have installed, you can use the telephone, for example to surf the
Internet conduct data exchange, send/receive fax messages, or implement an answer-
ing machine via the PC.
Important notice for all PC applications which utilize the USB port of the tele-
phone via the CAPI driver:
•
Only one B channel is available for all applications, to ensure that the tele-
phone can be reached at all times. The applications that are concerned
(for example CAPI tools programs) may use the B channel in sequence.
•
Do not use the same MSNs for these PC applications that have been as-
signed for the telephone.
If a CAPI application is active on the PC and is using the available B channel, the mes-
sage »ONLINE« is shown in the telephone display. During this time, only one B channel is
available for telephony applications.
