Section 3 - Configuration
The LAN Setup page enables you to configure the Local Area Network (LAN) settings for the access point. From this page you
can adjust your local network's IP address settings. If you are connecting the access point to a network which is using IPv6, the
DAP-1665 can be configured to operate using the IPv6 protocol.
Device Name:
You can change the name of your access point to make it easier
to identify. Enter a name for the access point in the Device Name
field. You can use this name in your web browser address field
to access the web-based configuration utility.

Select how you would like to configure the access point's IP
Connection is:
address settings from the drop-down menu:
Dynamic IP(DHCP) - The access point will request an IP address
from the DHCP server that it is connected to. The IP Address,
Subnet Mask, etc. will automatically be assigned.
Static IP - You can manually specify the IP address settings for
the access point.
IP Address:
Enter the IP Address for the access point (for Static IP only).
Subnet Mask:
Enter the Subnet Mask to be used by the access point (for
Static IP only).
Gateway
Enter the default Gateway Address to be used by the access
Address:
point (for Static IP only).
Primary DNS
Enter the Primary DNS Server address to be used by the access
Server:
point (for Static IP only).
Secondary DNS
Enter the Secondary DNS Server address to be used by the
Server:
access point (for Static IP only).
Click Save Settings at the top of the page to save the current
configuration.
