A Fixed key on the IP Phone 2001 that connects to your
voice messaging system when the key is pressed.
An LCD or an LED that indicates the status of a feature
by the flash, wink, steady on, or off.
Any display of call activity, lists, prompts, and status of
calls. On the IP Phone 2001 this information area is a
one-line by 24-characters. If the text message exceeds
this area, a scroll arrow icon indicates that you must use
the scroll keys to view the remaining text.
A one-line by 24-character area which displays date and
time or application information.
A broken or pulsed dial tone, heard when you access
some features on your telephone.
An option allowing access to the multiple layers of the
soft keys. These keys are the four keys located directly
below the display area.
Any line that is selected to either make a call or receive
an incoming call. The term off-hook is applied
regardless of whether the end-user (a) actually lifts up
the handset, (b) presses a line key, (c) automatically
answers at the set, or (d) automatically selects a line for
an outgoing call.
A special tone heard when using the Radio Paging
feature. You hear two beeps followed by dial tone.
