8.4 Cleaning the dust shield
Clean the dust shield on the chuck with a dry, clean
cloth at regular intervals. Clean the sealing lip by wiping it
carefully and then grease it again lightly with Hilti grease.

9 Troubleshooting

Fault
The power tool doesn't start.

at regular intervals and check that all controls operate

8.6 Checking the power tool after care and
After carrying out care and maintenance work on the
power tool, check that all protective and safety devices
are fitted and that they function faultlessly.
Possible cause
Initialization of the electronics is in
progress (takes up to approx. 4 sec.
after plugging in) or the electronic re-
starting interlock has become activ-
ated after an interruption in the elec-
tric supply.

The supply cord or plug is defective.
The control switch is defective.
