COMMISSIONING

NOTE: The boiler is suitable for both natural gas and propane firing.
It is supplied as standard set for natural gas. For propane firing please contact Broag.
9.1 Initial lighting
1. Isolate main power supply.
2. Pull the grey instrument panel cover towards you.
3. Unscrew the 2 screws of the front panel and remove front panel.
4. Check that the gas supply is available, sound and vented.
5. Open the instrument box.
6. Check that the electrical connections match the control options.
7. Open the cap of the automatic air vent.
8. Check boiler and installation is full of water and at the correct pressure.
9. Vent the system if necessary.
10. Fill the siphon with clean water.
11. Tighten siphon cup, keep hold on siphon extension pipe.
12. Close the instrument box.
13. Check the flue and the combustion air supply connections.
14. Open the gas cock.
15. Re-establish power supply to boiler and controls.
16. Use manual override to start the boiler.
17. The boiler should start with the run sequence indicated in the code-display,
see Par. 6.3.
18. Check the boiler for correct gas/air setup in full load and part load by measuring
the O
levels in the flue gas (direct measurement
