    Assembly Instructions Remove all contents from the carton packaging. Make sure all parts are present before attempting assembly. Once the grill is fully assembled, go back and check to make certain all the bolts are secure. Tighten again using the screwdriver provided if necessary.
  • Page 9 Step 4 a) Insert the tank clip (T) into the two holes on the cart base. Step 5 a) Align the door handle (AA) and the handle seats (Z) with the two holes on the left door (X). Insert one bolt (AAA), one spring washer (BBB) and one flat washer (CCC) into each hole.
  • Page 10 Step 8 a) Align the five holes on the left decorative sheet (I) with the five holes on the left side shelf (H) and insert one bolt (AAA) with one spring washer (BBB) and one flat washer (CCC) into each pre‐drilled hole. Tighten bolts by hands until secure.
  • Page 11 Step 11 a) Connect the venture tube and side valve nozzle, and insert the retaining pin (GGG) into place. b) Connect the side burner ignition cable by inserting it onto the electrode. Make certain the connection is secure. Step 12 Insert the grease pan (F) under the grill body and hook up the grease cup (G) under the grease pan.
  • Page 12 Step 14 a) Put the gas tank on the tank holder. Secure the tank with the tank clip. Step 15 a) Connect the upper cable with the cable of the battery case. b) Open the lid of the battery case, and put three batteries (HHH) into the case in correct negative and positive ends as the figure shown.

    Fully Assembled View Operating the Grill CAUTION Use only the regulator provided. If a replacement is necessary, call the customer service center. The use of unauthorized parts can create an unsafe condition and environment. The liquid propane gas (LP‐gas) supply tank(s) to be used must be: a) Constructed and marked in accordance with the specifications for LP gas tanks of the National Standard of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Commission of Canada for Tanks, Spheres and Tubes (CAN/CSA‐B139), as applicable;...

    Before connecting, make sure there is no debris caught in the head of the gas tank, regulator valve or in the head of the burner and burner ports. Connect regulator valve and hand tighten firmly. DO NOT obstruct the flow of combustion air or ventilation air to the grill.

    Make sure control knobs are in the “OFF” position. Spray some solution on the tank valve up to the regulator connection. (See diagram to right.) Inspect the solution at the connections for bubbles. If no bubbles appear, the connection is secure and the leak test is finished.
  • Page 16 Open the lid while lighting the burner. The lid must remain open while the burner is lit. 2. The burner valve knob must be in the “OFF” position. 3. Open the tank valve. 4. Push the side burner knob fully and rotate it slowly about 1/4 turn counterclockwise, and then press the igniter promptly.

    Flare‐Ups “Flare‐ups” sometimes occur when food drippings fall onto the hot heat distribution plate or burners and ignite. Some flaring is normal and desirable as it helps impart the unique flavors associated with grilled foods. Controlling the intensity of the flare‐ups is necessary, however, in order to avoid burned or unevenly cooked foods and to prevent the possibility of accidental fire.

    Care and Maintenance IMPORTANT Always allow the grill to completely cool off before covering the grill to prevent corrosion from condensation. CAUTION All cleaning and maintenance should be done when the grill is cool, with the fuel supply turned off at the control dial and the propane tank disconnected.
