WARNING
Read the manual for service instructions.
The wing arm canister is a stored-energy device. To prevent injury, do not
disassemble the canister.
Open the tow valve before you tow the mower. Do not tow the mower at more
than 2 mph (3.2 kph).
The radiator contains a 50/50 mixture of water and ethylene glycol based
anti-freeze. Drain and discard the coolant each year.
When the engine is cold, keep the fluid level in the radiator recovery bottle
between the FULL and LOW mark.
Clear the radiator screen, hydraulic oil cooler and radiator of dirt or cut grass.
When you stop for fuel, check the engine oil level.
To lift the front deck to the service position:
1.
Rotate the anti-sway mechanism down.
2.
Start the engine and lift the front deck until the rear caster wheels do not touch the ground.
3.
Remove the height of cut adjustment pins from the rear caster wheel arms.
4.
Lift the front deck to the fully lifted position.
5.
Stop the engine.
6.
Rotate the front of the front deck up until the support is locked.
NOTICE
DO NOT USE START ASSIST FLUIDS
Start assist fluids in the air intake system can be
explosive or cause an engine condition that is not
controlled and can cause engine damage.
