Using a computer with Merlin lcD turned oFF
Once properly connected as shown page 23, the computer's
display signal will automatically flow through the Merlin LCD, even
with the power turned OFF. There is no need to disconnect any
cables.
Switching between Merlin lcD and a computer
Once you have completed the set-up on pages 10 & 23 and
turned on both the Merlin LCD and your computer, press down on
the optional footswitch to toggle between computer viewing and
the Merlin LCD. Alternately, you may simply use the power switch
on the front of your Merlin for this purpose. When the Merlin
power is turned off, the LCD will remain active and the computer
signal will be displayed on the LCD screen.
