8-14. Adjusting automatic knee lifter (Option device)

1. An automatic knee-lifter will be attached to the sewing machine upon shipment.
2. The lifting amount of the presser foot when automatically lifting the knee is controlled by the automatic knee-lifting solenoid
shaft crank①.
3. First, loosen the solenoid cover fixing screw⑤ and remove the solenoid cover④.
4. If the solenoid shaft③ is moved left and the fixing screw② is tightened when the solenoid crank shaft fixing screw② is loose,
the lifting amount of the presser foot grows smaller; and if it is moved right and the fixing screw is tightened, the lifting amount
of the presser foot grows bigger.
5. Assemble the cover back after the adjustment is completed. (The presser foot lifting amount for the automatic knee-lifter is set at
15mm by default upon shipment.)
