Inserting a Mute at the End of a Track
The following illustration shows the procedure for inserting a mute at the end of a
track.
Start recording
as normal
Start recording, as explained on page 38.

While recording, press the [REC MUTE] button.

The REC MUTE indicator flashes.
The mute is not inserted at the point at which the [REC MUTE] button is pressed, but
at the point after that at which recording is stopped by pressing the [PAUSE] button,
[STOP] button, or footswitch.
Press the [PAUSE] button to engage Record Standby mode, or press the

[STOP] button or footswitch to stop recording.
The input source is muted, a two-second mute is inserted, and the REC MUTE indica-
tor lights up continuously. When the mute is complete, the REC MUTE indicator goes
out. If the Fade Out function is set, the mute is inserted after the fade out. If the
[PAUSE] button was pressed, the CDR1000 resumes Record Standby mode. If the
[STOP] button or footswitch was pressed the CDR1000 stops.
