The vehicle is fitted with a free-mainte-
nance battery.
THE BATTERY RELEASES EXPLO-
SIVE GASES. KEEP IT AWAY OF
FLAMES, SPARKS, CIGARETTES OR
ANY OTHER HEAT SOURCE.
WHEN RECHARGING OR USING THE
BATTERY, BE CAREFUL TO HAVE
THE ROOM ADEQUATELY AIRED; DO
NOT BREATH GASES RELEASED
WHEN THE BATTERY IS BEING RE-
CHARGED.
KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHIL-
DREN

Use of a new battery (04_14)

•
Make sure that the ignition
switch is set to "OFF".
•
Lift the fuel tank.
•
Disconnect the negative lead (-)
first and then the positive one
(+).
•
Remove the battery from its
housing and put it on a level sur-
face in a cool and dry place.

Ingebruikname van een
nieuwe accu (04_14)
•
Controleer of de ontstekings-
schakelaar zich in positie 'OFF'
bevindt.
•
Hef de brandstoftank op.
•
Maakt men eerst de negatieve
kabel (-) en daarna de positieve
kabel (+) los.
•
Verwijder de accu uit haar
plaats, en plaats haar op een
vlakke ondergrond in een koele
en droge plaats.
