Symptom
Cannot manually forward a
call to Voicemail.
Cannot transfer a call to an
extension.
Cannot transfer a call to an
external line.
DDN (Directory Dial Numbers)
numbers do not dial out
properly from the Call Log.
Deskset Troubleshooting

Probable Cause
Cannot forward a ring group call.
The extension is unavailable.
Transferring to an external line
has been disabled or no lines are
available.
This System does not support
DDN.
Ring Group calls cannot be forwarded. However, the
System Administrator can designate a Deskset
Voicemail as a forwarding destination when the call
is unanswered.
Check if the destination extension is connected to
the network and functioning.
All the target extension's lines may be busy.
If the party you have on hold hangs up, call them
back and start the transfer process again.
Check that transferring to an external line has been
enabled (see
"Call Fwd All - Outside Line" on
page
46).
All PSTN lines may be in use. If so, try again later.
If your problem persists, contact your system
administrator.
DDN numbers in the Call Log are treated like all other
Caller ID phone numbers.
