Configuring the Mobile Computer for the Modem

To edit an existing modem connection using Manage existing connections,
see Changing the Initialization String on page
To create a new modem connection on the mobile computer:
1. Connect the modem to the mobile computer as described in
Computer on page
2. Tap Start - Settings - Connections tab - Connections icon.
3. In the Connections window, select Add a new modem connection to create a connection.
Modem is not properly connected to the mobile computer; modem is not receiving
power.
Modem is connected to the mobile computer and is receiving power.
Mobile computer is communicating with the host computer.
