Shift to Tab
Copies the image located on the edge of the document onto the tab area of tab stock
paper.
Enter a value in [Shift Value] to adjust the position of the tab image so that it is correctly
copied onto the tab area. Only the shifted image is copied, which means that the rest
of the image on the document is not copied.
Shift All
Copies the whole image of the document onto tab stock paper.
Specify a value in [Shift Value] to shift the position of the image located on the edge of
the document so that the image can be copied onto the tab area.
Shift Value
Allows you to specify how much the image needs to be shifted in the range from 1 to
15 mm in 1 mm increments.
Add Tab Stock
Allows you to specify the number of sheets of tab stock paper.
Paper Supply
Allows you to select a tray to be used for tab stock paper.

• When a paper jam occurs, clear the paper jam. The machine delivers skipped papers
according to the tab position of the state before the paper jam occurred, then copying is
automatically resumed.
For information on job operation in the case of paper jam during tab stock paper copying,
refer to "2 Paper and Other Media" > "Loading Paper" > "Loading Tab Paper in Tray 5
(Bypass)", "Loading Tab Paper in Tray 6 (A3 High Capacity Feeder (optional))", or "Loading
Tab Paper in Trays 6 to 7 (High Capacity Feeder C2-DS (optional))" in the Administrator
Guide.
• When tab stock paper copying is interrupted, a confirmation screen will appear on the touch
screen after the interrupt mode is exited. Follow the instruction displayed and load tab stock
paper again if necessary.
