Cables

8.8.1

Cable routing

WARNING!
Cables must be secured to the wheelchair frame and/or base with tie-wraps after servicing
is complete. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions below could result in injury to
the users, attendants and/or bystanders and/or damage to the wheelchair.
● Cables MUST be secured so there are no loops of excess cable extending away from the
wheelchair. Bundle all excess cable together and secure with a tie-wrap. It may also be
necessary to secure these bundles to the frame and/or base.
● ALWAYS TEST all wheelchair functions after securing the cables to be sure cables do not get
pinched or crushed during operation of the wheelchair.
Note
Motors not shown for clarity. The motor cables are routed out the hole located at the back of the
battery box.
