License-plate carrier

Removing license-plate
carrier
Make sure ground is level and
firm and park motorcycle.
Take cable out of brackets 1
and 2.
Disconnect connector 3.
To disconnect the con-
nector: press together the
locking devices on the narrow
sides of the connector and pull
off the connector.
Protect connector on vehicle
from soiling.
Remove screws 4 on left and
right and take off license-plate
carrier.
Installing license-plate
carrier
Position license-plate carrier
and install screws 4 on left and
right with specified torque.
License-plate carrier on
tail section
Thread-locking compound:
Micro-encapsulated
6 lb/ft (8 Nm)
