1 To increase the clearance
with the motorcycle in-
clined, the stainless-steel
manifold is already joined
before the engine in order
to route it as closely be-
low the engine as possible.
The exhaust flap actuated
by the positioning motor af-
fects the noise emissions
depending on the operating
state.
2 The airbox optimized for a
high air throughput holds a
high-quality, oil-wetted sport
filter of metal-reinforced wo-
ven material.
3 Valve control ( 106)
4 The engine output is
passed on to the six-
speed sport transmission
via a reinforced clutch,
which is matched to the
requirements for racetrack
use with a specially selected
gear ratio. Together with
the standard shifting
assistant, the pulling force
provided by the motor is
fully utilized for optimum
acceleration.
5 An enlarged metal-substrate
catalytic converter is inte-
grated in the stainless-steel
exhaust system.
