Titles containing "Copy-Once" (copy once) copy
protection signals can be moved only from HDD
(hard disc drive) to DVD-RW (VR mode) (digital
video disc-rewritable, minus RW (Video
Recording mode))* (after the title is moved, the
original title in the HDD (hard disc drive) is
erased). The "Move" function is performed using
the same procedure as dubbing (page 84). Titles
containing "Copy-Once" (copy once) copy
protection signals are indicated with

• The following titles in the HDD (hard disc drive)
cannot be moved.
– Protected titles
– Playlist titles
– Original titles referenced from the playlist
• If the move operation is stopped before completion, the
title in the HDD (hard disc drive) is not erased.

Dubbing a single title (Title Dub)

Insert the DVD (digital video disc) that you
are going to dub to or from.

Press HDD (hard disc drive) or DVD (digital
video disc) to select the source.

Press TITLE LIST (title list) to turn on the
Title List menu.

Select a title, and press ENTER (enter).
The sub-menu appears.

Select "Dubbing," and press ENTER
(enter).
The display for selecting the dubbing mode
appears.
If a title with
title list, a confirmation screen is displayed.
To "Move," select "Yes."

This title will be dubbed. Set the dub mode.
