Using the ADF

To select an Original Direction setting

Position the document to be copied.

For details on positioning the document, refer to "Feeding the doc-

ument" on page 2-8.

In the Basic screen, touch [Original Setting].

The Original Setting screen appears.

Using the original

• Select this setting for a docu-

ment loaded into the ADF

with the top of the document

toward the right side of this

• Select this setting for a docu-

ment placed on the original

glass with the top of the doc-

ument toward the left side of

this machine.
