2.2 Track Color

The color of the track can be changed manually, or automatically according to water temperature
or depth.
Manually changing track color
Track is available in seven colors. It can be beneficial to change track color when, for example,
starting or stopping fishing. For how to change track color manually see Chapter 1.
Automatically changing track color by water temperature
With connection of a temperature sensor or video sounder, you can set up to automatically
change track color in seven colors according to water temperature. The user may select color
and corresponding temperature range on the menu. This feature is particularly useful when
searching for a particular species of fish, since each species has its own habitable temperature.
Automatically changing track color by depth
With connection of a video sounder, you can set up to automatically change track color in seven
colors according to depth. The user may select color and corresponding depth range on the
menu.
2.2.1 Automatically changing track color by water temperature
There are two methods by which track color is changed according to water temperature: by
preset temperature range or unit place.
Changing track color by preset temperature range
This method changes the color of track when the water temperature is within a preset range. For
example, you can set up to paint the track yellow when the water temperature is between 17 and
20 degrees Centigrade.
Changing track color by unit place
This setting paints the track in up to five colors according to unit place selected. For example,
you could paint the track red when the water temperature is between 17.0 and 17.1 degrees;
yellow when the water temperature is between 17.2 and 17.3 degrees.
