6.7 Ship's Speed Alarm

This alarm uses ship's speed data fed from the navigator to release the alarms when the ship's
speed is higher or lower the preset speed range.

6.7.1 Setting the ship's speed alarm
1. Press [MENU], [5], [1] to display the Alarm menu.
2. Select Page 2.
3. Select In RNG or Out RNG from the Speed field as appropriate.
4. Press [↓], enter alarm range (0.1-999.9 knots) in four digits and press the [ENT] key.
5. Press the [MENU] key several times to close the menu.
6.7.2 Disabling the ship's speed alarm
When the ship's speed alarm sounds, press the [CLR] key to silence the audio alarm. To cancel
the alarm set Speed on page 2 of the Alarm menu to Off.
