Recording onto cassette tape

Note that this cassette deck cannot record onto Metal tapes.

Temporary stop during recording
1. Load a tape in deck.
Insert the cassette straight into the insertion slot. Just push lightly
and the cassette will be pulled automatically inside.
÷ Normal (TYPE I) or high (TYPE II) tape selection is set automatically.
÷ It is not recommended to use a 100-minute or longer cassette tapes, for
these tapes are very thin and may easily cause troubles such as entangle-
ment and cutting.
÷ Remove tape slack before loading.
÷ Avoid using tapes of which the label is not firmly adhered.
2. Select the tape transport direction.

key for the direction to be

Press the "7 stop" key.
÷ Wind the tape to the position where recording is to be started.
3. Select the source to be recorded.
TUNER (Radio broadcasting)
CD
MD
TAPE (Recording is impossible.)
AUX
÷ When the CD or MD input is selected while a
disc has already been loaded in the source com-
ponent, it starts to play; press the "7 stop" key
to stop it immediately.
