Adjust the clock before setting the timer.
To cancel execution of a timer program
Press the "TIMER" key repeatedly until
"PROG.1" or "PROG.2" disappears.
To set the same timer program again
Press the "TIMER" key repeatedly until
"PROG.1" or "PROG.2" appears.

Sleep timer

The sleep timer is used to set the period after which the power will switch OFF automatically.
While the power is ON (in a play mode)
Press the "SLEEP" key on the remote control
unit.
The system has been set so that the LCD bright-
ness drops automatically during the sleep timer
operation. (Auto dimmer)

÷ The reservation contents are held in memory.
÷ Also prepare the disc or tape and adjust the listening
volume.
÷ Each press increases the set time by 10 minutes. The
sleep timer can be set up to about 90 minutes.
10 =20 ....70 = 80= 90 = Cancel = 10 =20 .....
To cancel
Turn the power OFF or press the "SLEEP" key un-
til the sleep time is cancelled.
