DPSS (Direct Program Search System)

DPSS (Direct Program Search System) permits
easy location of the beginning of the desired tune
or skipping of tunes on a cassette tape just like a
CD by detecting non-recorded blanks of more than
4 seconds on tape as the "spaces between tunes".
Skip search
Plays the desired music program from the beginning by skipping programs until you reach the desired
program. Up to 16 programs can be skipped.
Cassette deck only
During forward playback (while 3 is blinking)
To play the next program
To play the 4th program
after the current program : Press 4 times.
To return to the beginning
of the current program
To play the 4th program
before the current program : Press 5 times.
Listening with fast forward for unrecorded portions
Plays music programs repeatedly by skipping non-recorded blank of more than 10 seconds.

Press simultaneously
