Start the search.
Press the "PTY" key.
To select another program type
Repeat steps 1, 2 and 3.
÷ No sound is heard while "ROCK M" is blinking.
÷ If the desired program type cannot be found, "NO
PROG" is displayed, then after several seconds the dis-
play returns to the original display.
÷ If the desired program type is found, that program is
received. The program type display changes temporar-
ily to the frequency display, and then to the station
name display.
To be able to listen to the desired information at any time
By using the EON function, which manages the information of other stations, listening to desired informa-
tion like traffic information or news etc. can be reserved even when it is not being transmitted at the present.
When listening to a station with the "EON" display lit and another station of the same network starts to
broadcast an information program for which a reservation has been made, then that station will be se-
lected automatically. When the desired information program ends, return is made to the original program.
For reception of RDS stations, the RDS auto presetting function must be used to preset the stations.
Set the reception band to FM.

Select the desired information.
Press the "TA/NEWS" key.
Each press switches the modes as follows.
TA ....................... Traffic Announcement
NEWS ................ News
TA NEWS ........... Traffic Announcement and
News
Goes off ............. EON cancelled
÷ If "TA" and "NEWS" can not be selected, carry out the
"Collective presetting of stations (auto preset)"
again.
