back.
To wind tape at high speed

Each press switch the modes as follows.

played back endlessly.
Goes off ..... Tape stops after having played a
single side.
Transport direction indicators
The "2 reverse" and "3 forward" indicators in-
dicate the current direction in which the tape ad-
vances when playback or recording is started au-
tomatically by the easy operation function, etc.
This direction is the direction stored in memory
when the tape was last stopped.

÷ The tape direction lights red.
To reduce tape noise
The Dolby Noise Reduction system reduces in-
herent noise to tape playback. This cassette deck
incorporates the C Type Dolby NR in addition to
the standard B Type.
Set the Dolby NR according to the Dolby NR used
when recording each cassette tape.

"B-type" lit ... Tape is played using B Type.
"C-type" lit ... Tape is played using C Type.
Goes off ......... Dolby NR is deactivated.

To change the direction, press the key for the de-

stop" key.
