ENGINE REMOVAL AND REMOUNTING
ENGINE REMOVAL
The procedure of engine removal is sequentially
explained in the following step_
• Remove the middle and lower cowling (See
page
7-1)
• Place the pan under the coolant drain plug hole.
• Remove the drain plug and radiator cap, and
drain coolant completely.
• Place an oil pan under the engine, and remove
the oil filler cap and oil drain plug to drain out
transmission oil.
• Remove the seat and frame covers.
• Remove the battery.
