I CHASSIS
Inspect the cup set and each rubber part for
damage.
REASSEMBLY
Reassemb le and remount the master cylinder in
the reverse order of disassembly and removal , and
a lso carry out the following steps:
CAUTION :
Wash the master cylinder co mponents with
fresh brake fluid before reassembly. Never
use cleaning solvent or gasoline to wash them .
Apply brake fluid to the cylinder bore and all
the internal s to
be
inserted into the bore.
Rear bra ke pedal
When installing the rear brake pedal , align the
brake pedal punched mar k
CD
with punched mark
®
provided on the end face of the brake pedal rod
arm .

CAUTION :
Bleed the air after reassembling master cylin ·
der (See page 2· 151.
Adju st the rear brake ligh t switch and brake
pedal height after installati on.
