Attaching the FN-MS Magnet Scale
(1)
Rotate the coarse focus knob to raise the
nosepiece arm to the upper limit.
(2)
Loosen four screws using a Phillips
screwdriver to remove the back cover of the
microscope body at the rear side of the arm.
(3)
Fix the Magnet Scale into the place with two
M3 screws.

Draw the cable for the Magnet Scale through
the opening of the back cover. And then,
attach the back cover in place. Connect the
cable to the [SIG. IN] socket on the back of the
display part of the Magnescale.

Connecting the power code
WARNING
Make sure to use the specified power cord.
When the supply voltage is 100 V to 120 V, the power cord specification
is as follows.
UL Listed detachable cord set, 3 conductor grounding Type SVT, No.18
AWG, 3 m long maximum, rated at 125 VAC minimum.
When the supply voltage is 220 V to 240 V, the power cord specification
is as follows.
Approved according to EU/EN standards, 3 conductor grounding Type
HO5VV-F, 3 m long maximum, rated at 250 VAC minimum.
Connect the lamp house and the power supply with the extension cable.
Check that the power switch on the power supply is turned off (it is flipped to the "O" side).
Insert the socket of the power cord into the AC inlet on the back of the power supply. Then,
securely plug the power cord to the wall outlet.
