Installing the Epi-fl attachment/variable magnification double port
attachment/simple DIC analyzer
1 Epi-fl attachment
(1) Remove the ultraviolet light shield and
the button bolts at the mounting part.
(2) Fix the
eyepiece
microscope main body with an M4
hexagonal socket head set screw.
(3) Attach the single objective holder or the
sliding nosepiece. And then, attach the
ultraviolet light shield to the front of the
eyepiece tube mounting part of the
microscope.
2 Variable magnification double port
attachment
Fix the variable magnification double port
attachment on the eyepiece tube mount part
of the microscope main body with an M4
hexagonal socket head set screw.
To use the epi-fl attachment and the variable
magnification double port attachment
together, attach the variable magnification
double port attachment onto the eyepiece
tube mount part of the epi-fl attachment and
fix the double port attachment with an M4
hexagonal socket head set screw. Then, fix
the epi-fl attachment with two M4 hexagonal
socket head bolts onto the microscope main
body. The epi-fl attachment is put between
the microscope main body and the variable
magnification double port attachment.
3 Simple DIC analyzer
Fix the simple DIC analyzer on the eyepiece tube mount part of the microscope main
body with an M4 hexagonal socket head set screw.
To use the simple DIC analyzer with an epi-fl attachment, attach the simple DIC analyzer
onto the epi-fl attachment and fix the analyzer with an M4 hexagonal socket head set
screw.
CAUTION:
When an epi-fl attachment with an analyzer slot is used for this purpose, do
not use the analyzer of the epi-fl attachment.
