7.8 BIOS Setting with Expansion
Card Installed
In this Server Blade, you need to change the settings of the BIOS Setup Utility
according to installation conditions when installing the 4Gbit/s FC I/O Module (PG-
FCD201), 2Gbit/s FC I/O Module (PG-FCD102), 1Gbit/s Ethernet I/O Module (PG-
LND201), Eth. Ctrl 2 x 1Gbit PCI-E 1000-BASE-T lp (PG-2861L) of an expansion
card slot module, or SCSI Ctrl U160 lp (PG-1301L).
For a device that starts the OS, use the BIOS Setup Utility to set the optional ROM (OPROM) to
[Enabled].
For more details on the setting procedures, refer to "8.2.5 PCI Configuration Submenu" ( p.176) in the
[Advanced] menu.
Refer to the "PRIMERGY BX620 S2 Server Blade User's Guide" or "PRIMERGY BX620 S3 Server
Blade User's Guide" when performing 2Gbit/s FC I/O Module (PG-FCD102) settings.
