Requirement
When the presser foot is resting on the needle plate (feed dog beneath the needle plate),
there must be a clearance of about 1.3 mm between the lifting lever 3 and lifting piece 4.

Lower the presser foot onto the needle plate
Adjust crank 1 (screws 2) according to the requirement. . . . .
When tightening crank 1, make sure that the knee lever shaft has no vertical
play.
