Oil Pan
Removal
1.
Remove the oil pan retaining bolts and remove
the oil pan (6675).
2. Remove the oil pan gasket (6710) and thoroughly
clean the engine and oil pan gasket surfaces.

Installation
1.
Apply Silicone Gasket and Sealant Fl AZ-l 9562-A,
or equivalent, meeting Ford specification WSE-
M4G320-A2, in six places at joints between engine
front cover (6019) and the cylinder block and rear
main bearing cap and engine block as shown.
2. Install a new oil pan gasket to the oil pan and
position the oil pan to the engine.
